The American Anthropological Society is now accepting submissions for Invited Panels that from SANA! Panels that "continue our traditional interests in public anthropology, activist anthropology, decolonizing pedagogy, as well as panels that demonstrate the broad relevance of the discipline to other pressing contemporary North American concerns" are especially encouraged to apply. AAA is also welcoming panels that do not fit the theme of the conference that nonetheless extend existing scholarship in important ways.

Submissions should be directed to Sarah Horton at sarah.horton@umontana.edu before March 1st, 2008.

Note that submissions co-sponsored by SANA and its sister organizations are especially encouraged to apply.
Additionally, this year roundtables will not count against our invited hours limit, so those who are seeking higher visibility in the program and might effectively use that format are warmly encouraged to do so.
