Eleanor ‘Happy’ Leacock Travel Grant

Named for the pioneering anthropologist Eleanor ‘Happy’ Leacock, this grant supports emerging scholars whose work reflects her commitment to engaged, critical anthropology.

Both grants are administered by the SANA Board and awarded annually to support participation in the AAA Annual Meeting. Applications are reviewed by a committee of SANA members.
